Fossil Glass Spice Bowls and Spoon

Fossil Glass Spice Bowls and Spoon

from $35.00

These exquisite spice bowls are unlike any other! Made by hand by Cristina Salusti in Woodstock, Vermont.

Beginning with a ball of clay, Salusti employs ancient method of pinching to open and form a vessel. Using fragments of stone, the bowls are pressed, stretched, and twisted to arrive at the final form. After multiple firings, the interior of each bowl is lustered with 22K gold. Its volcanic-like outer wall seems almost protective of its precious, luminescent center. The vessel attracts and contains ambient light and is sure to be the centerpiece of any table! Comes with artist’s information card.
