Sourced directly from a small farm in the Wakayama prefecture in Japan.

Sansho is a relative of sichuan pepper, but with incredible lemon rind and floral notes. The effect on the tongue is exciting: both numbing  and effervescent. Pairs well with rich foods like oily fish (tuna belly, salmon, eel) but also great sprinkled on noodles, rice dishes, salads, even just sliced cucumber. Check out our blog post to learn more.
